My name is Amber and I run the Turpentine. I started the business in 2010 running pop-up markets which grew into a successful shop in the heart of Brixton. Seven years and two kids later and wanting a slightly quieter life, I moved to sunny Southsea.
Having had almost twenty years’ retail experience the transition from bricks and mortar to online retail was a challenge. How do I translate that feeling of browsing in a physical store to an online experience?
We want you to have the same connection with a product that you would have if you were to pick it up in store, chat with the shop staff and then go home with the purchase in your bag.
