We are a small, family-run pub tucked away in Old Glossop. As a small team, we work hard to make sure that you enjoy your visit here; we provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, a variety of drinks, delicious homemade food and a friendly service.
Since August 2018, we have worked hard to renovate the Wheatsheaf in order to make it a country-style pub that everyone feels welcome; men, women, the young, the not-so-young! We think it is important to have a little place where you can go to to catch up with friends, meet with colleagues, reunite with family, or simply to take a break from a hectic day, and the perfect little place to do so is The Wheatsheaf.

At the Wheatsheaf we value homemade food. Our close connections to Greece have allowed us to expand our menu, serving not only traditional English dishes, but also adding a Mediterranean influence. We pride ourselves in being a small country-style pub with amazing food, so we always aim to maintain a relaxed and comfortable eating environment.
