ABOUT THE STRATHMORE

The Strathmore is a professional, family run bed and breakfast in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. Our six bedroom house is the perfect place to relax and unwind in Tenby. The house has been in the family since 1974, and has since been providing, for all of our guests, the personal touch that larger hotels cannot provide.

All of our rooms are en-suite with all of the features you would expect, including free wireless internet access, tea and coffee facilities, safety deposit boxes and 24 hour access to your room. We are situated right next to Tenby’s beautiful South Beach, our rear facing rooms overlook the beach with a sea view.

STRATHMORE BEDROOMS

The Strathmore has six unique bedrooms. All of our rooms are en-suite, and come with digital television, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge for refreshments, hair dryer, safe and free WiFi.

Our smaller double rooms have all of the same features as the larger rooms, only with less floor space.

Rooms 2 and 5 have views towards the South Beach.

There is an iron and ironing board available on request.

Second floor, recently refurbished this room still has all of the luxury of the larger rooms but on a cosier scale. The room has en-suite facilities with a shower.

ROOM 5

Our most popular room, a second floor luxury king size double room with views towards the South Beach. The room has en-suite facilities with a double shower.

ROOM 6

THE AREA

Tenby is probably the most iconic seaside town in Wales, rivalling places like Mevagissey and Polperro for quaintness and charm. It was awarded a Silver award for the best UK coastal resort at the British Travel awards in 2016, as voted for by the public. Thanks!

TRANSPORT

Tenby has excellent communications including a railway station with a two hourly service from Swansea or the ferry port at Pembroke Dock. Bus services operate all along the south coast and inland to Haverfordwest and Kilgetty.

Tenby harbour has a thriving boating and fishing community as well as the departure point for the Caldey island boats and also the fishing and pleasure tips.
