The practice was started by Guy Hurst in 1992 when he purchased a small list of clients from a retiring accountant, working from a home office. We moved to rented premises on High Street West in 2009 before purchasing our own current Glossop Based offices in 2011.   Through organic growth, the practice now serves over 200 clients, mainly from the local Manchester and Derbyshire areas but also from afar afield as Cornwall and, indeed, serving some clients who have moved overseas to enjoy finer weather.

The dedicated team at G Hurst & Co have learned over the years the meaning of family is not solely blood relation but consists of the people who support and love you, and the people you can confide in and trust.
