Founded in 1985 the wholesale business specialized in top quality American vintage and denim Levis 501 jeans.

Since 1994 the retail side has been in Islington at 162 Holloway road,London.

Housed in a character Victorian period building on two floors with 4000 square feet, the shop is a one-stop-shop for vintage clothes, footwear and accessories at the lowest prices.

Our ethic has always been and remains to stock quality vintage clothing at the most affordable prices, not to profiteer by charging the highest prices that the ‘market will bear’.

Due to the increasing commercialization of Notting hill and Camden in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s we decided to establish a true alternative to the creeping malaise of mass marketing of poor quality vintage products and increasing prices.

We specialized in introducing new ideas into vintage fashion such as the ‘Indian’ look in the mid 1990’s before Brick lane took off and sourced large quantities of dead-stock vintage from all over the world, including eastern European leather coats and jackets, American military clothing dating back to world war two and many other categories that the pressure of trading in developed trading areas, such as Camden town, with rising rents would not allow vintage traders to stock.

We see no good reason why the vintage market in London or elsewhere should be dominated by a few companies and characterized by high prices for generic products when it is the raison d’être of ‘vintage’ to be diverse by its nature and the uniqueness of vintage items that make vintage so interesting and enjoyable to find and wear.

The product range is from the 1940’s to the 1990’s and includes Men’s and Women’s clothing, footwear and accessories.

Our focus on Women’s wear has always been a fabulous array of vintage dresses and tops for which we are well-known in the trade and by our public.

For Men, we have always offered a great selection of Leather jackets & coats, 1960’s & 1970’s clothing and now have a comprehensive selection of 1980’s and 1990’s vintage clothing.
