Welcome to Waggs in Glynneath. We are a small, friendly team of animal lovers. We pride ourselves on our friendly and caring service. Whilst with us, your dog will be treated with love and cwtches (that’s the best part of the job!)  

We opened in 2010 and have been grooming dogs of all sizes including giants ever since. Owner and Groomer, Nina has a large pack of dogs herself, most of which are rescues, so we have a particular love for those that need extra care and attention, big and small.

NEW for 2021 – Waggs Grooming has launched 4 new pet services in 2021 in addition to our long established Grooming services! These are Waggs Walkies, Teeth Cleaning, Pet Home Care & Pet Taxis.

Nina, the Owner and Groomer of Waggs Dog Grooming has 7 dogs and our staff all have dogs too. They are our families! Our aim is to provide your pet with as much love and attention as they would receive when at home with you. You can be rest assured that all their needs will be carefully and compassionately catered for.

Hassle-free Nail Clipping

Clipping your dog’s nails can be tricky, and can be extremely painful if done incorrectly. At Waggs Dog Grooming & Pet Services, we will keep your dog calm and then trim their nalls. We cater to all breeds of dogs, including large breeds. 

We have a table at the front of the shop for drop ins, so even during Covid 19 restricted times, we are able to continue to do trim nails. No need to book although we prefer a call first.

OUR DROP IN, WHILE YOU WAIT SERVICES:

• Nail clipping to make sure nails are cut to a comfortable length – £6 per animal
• Anal gland expression – checking and cleaning of sensitive glands for dogs – £6
• Ear cleaning – £4 (this includes ear flushing and checking for ear mites and yeast infections to ensure the pets’ health).

A dog is not just a pet, but a member of the family! So don’t compromise when it comes to the quality of their diet. Make sure your dog has the best natural treats from Waggs. 

We only stock natural, fresh treats including paddywack, tendons, knuckle bones, pig and lamb trotters, pigs ears, dog sausages and much more! 

As a liscenced AMTRA RAMA (SQP), we are able to advise and sell you vet grade flea and worm treatments.

We also have a range of dog coats, collars, leads and harnesses. 

DOG & CAT MICROCHIPPING IN GLYNNEATH

We Know Pets Inside And Out

Waggs Grooming & Pet Services in Glynneath is trained and licensed to microchip both dogs and cats. Microchipping is a legal requirement for dogs, and is an essential way of being reunited with a lost animal. Once your pet has been microchipped, we log your details directly online to the Petlog database, so your pet is covered the moment you leave – with no paperwork to send away.

Price is £15 per animal to microchip & register.

At Waggs Grooming & Pet Services in Glynneath, we are dedicated to the welfare of all animals. To us, it’s more than just a job! We strongly believe that every animal deserves love and affection… so we actively support animal charities, in particular, Many Tears Animals Rescue in Llanelli, a local, independant charity…

CRAZY ENOUGH TO JUMP OUT OF A PLANE!

2020 marked our 10th Anniversay open and to celebrate, owner Nina decided to parachute jump out of a plane at 12,000ft to raise money for Many Tears Animal Rescue, Llanelli.
