We are an architecture and interior design studio based in London and Wales.

Benjamin Hale established the practice following a number of years working at Stanton Williams and Loyn and Co Architects where he gathered experience in the design of spaces for culture, art and living.

We have experience working on a wide range of projects of varying scale and complexity, from the careful and considered refurbishment of historic buildings and homes to the designing of new houses in Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Benjamin Hale also runs a Second Year Design Unit at the Welsh School of Architecture.

The Process

Our design approach is governed by a strong belief that architecture should be responsive to the context and character of a site and enriched by a communicative and analytical process thereby avoiding the contemporary trend towards superfluous form.  It should also be responsive to the constraints of time and budget, be bold, sensitive and innovative, grounded in the sustainable principles of architecture. Moreover, it should be developed through a collaboration of disciplines where the ultimate goal is developing a space or building of timelessness and permanence.
